I'm a private trader and consider myself a technical trader with a strong focus on capital preservation. I don't write books and I don't speak frequently on seminars. After trading shares I started day trading in 2001 with Options, CFD's, Futures and FX, went to courses and studied almost everything I could about trading. Learning to trade successfully has been a long and very painful experience but with the unconditional support of my wife and children I know the journey has just begun. My dream of being a profitable trader was the same as for so many others.

I am a member of the Professional Risk Managers International Association, and have completed the subject E114 Technical Analysis which is part of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia’s (FINSIA) Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. Also, I am in the process of completing the necessary requirements to be registered with the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodity Futures trading Commission ( CFTC)

In my extreme determination to be successful I have traveled the world learning from some of the very best teachers and leaders on the planet. I have spend a lot of time and money on my education but it wasn't until I met a successful local trader, who helped me greatly, that my trading turned around. He made me realize that most of the trading information around had little to do with trading profitably. And he told me "Simple is better".

So first of all, a massive, "unreserved thank you" to the local trader who want's to stay unnamed.

When not trading, you'll find me here

Watch yourself if you get excited when trading – excitement increases risk because it clouds judgment

In a nutshell, if you are looking for excitement, thrills, and other emotional endeavors, then you should be either playing video games or going to the fun park.
